Accredited and Licensed

SIU is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) —the same accreditor that evaluates colleges such as Everest University and FORTIS College. ACICS is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Additionally, SIU is licensed by the Largo, Florida State Commission for Independent Education (Commission for Independent Education).
